Who we are
Created in the early 1940s, the Belvedere Lagoon covers 66 acres and is surrounded by 260 private residences, duplexes, and the BLPOA Boatyard. Totally enclosed, there is no public access.
The property under the lagoon waters is owned and maintained by the Belvedere Lagoon Property Owners Association (BLPOA), a private non-profit corporation, made up of ~235 members.
The BLPOA is licensed by the State of California to protect the quality of the water in the lagoon that originates from Richardson Bay, and members pay annual dues to support maintenance operations and security of the infrastructure.
BLPOA Membership is required of all lagoon shoreline homeowners and property owners in order to have access to the lagoon.
